STAMOS develops welding machines that are easy to use and compact, but still impress with their performance. The WIG welding machine from the STAMOS Germany series corresponds exactly to this idea, which has proven itself time and time again in practice. Despite its lightweight design with carrying handle, the WIG DC welding machine surprises with optimal performance values, which are only possible with the latest technologies.
The performance must be right with the STAMOS WIG welding machine
The welding current is set using a large control knob that is easy to grip even when wearing welding gloves. The WIG welding machine offers 10 to 200 A, for electrode welding 10 – 180 A. This means you can easily adjust the welding strength according to the metals you want to process.
The powerful IGBT inverter ensures a stable arc, with which you can process self-melting metals with pinpoint accuracy. The arc is ignited via high frequency, which allows optimal welding results right from the start.
STAMOS WIG welding machines impress with their ease of use
In the development of its WIG welding machines, STAMOS relies not only on stable performance values but also on the ease of use of the machines. The WIG DC welding machine can therefore be switched directly from 2-step to 4-step operation of the TIG welding torch using a toggle switch. Switching between the WIG and MMA welding methods is just as easy.
With a smart package of 4 m, you can enjoy increased freedom of movement when operating the WIG welding torch. The somewhat shorter electrode clamp with a 3 m cable is also ideal for most welding tasks in practice.
High-quality weld seams with the STAMOS WIG DC welding machine
With the WIG welding machine from the STAMOS Welding Group, almost all types of melting metal and their alloys such as copper, titanium or steel can be processed. To adapt the welding machine even more precisely to the workpiece, the gas post-flow time can be set using a rotary control. The weld seam is optimally protected, and the torch is continuously cooled.
The Down Slope dial is available for high-quality welds. This regulates the drop in current after the end of the welding process and prevents the formation of craters or cracks.
Electrode welding with the mobile WIG welding machine
STAMOS offers the additional option of welding without gas for its WIG welding machines. In addition to being independent of a gas source, electrode welding is also very well suited for outdoor welding work such as on a construction site. The S-WIG 200 IGBT from STAMOS works with an increased welding current at the start of the welding process. This hot start guarantees that the electrode does not stick and welds cleanly right from the start.
